“The instructors are of the highest quality, and for the most part extremely willing to help dedicated students out in any way that they can. WSU’s online Business Program, as well as the online Advising Department are a couple of the best things to ever enter my life. Specifically speaking about my advisor, I would not be where I am and continuing on with my classes without him. He is always available to help me, and is always encouraging to me. He made a hopeless situation for me feel full of hope, and that I can do this. WSU’s online Business Program changed my life.”
Faculty Highlights

Christopher Stone
Christopher Stone currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Human Resource Management (HRM) and Department Chair in the Management Department in the Barton School of Business. He earned his MBA and Ph.D. in organizational behavior (OB) and HRM from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to academia, Dr. Stone worked in retail management, served in the U.S. Air Force as an Electrical and Environmental Systems Journeyman as well as a Military Training Instructor, and owned and operated a small business. After selling his business and enrolling in graduate school, he chose to study stereotypes of veterans in the employment process, drawing inspiration from witnessing several of his military friends struggle with finding employment after leaving active duty. This topic was the subject of his dissertation, two journal publications, a book chapter, and multiple presentations. He later expanded his area of inquiry to include the barriers faced by veterans as they transition from the military to civilian life.
