Admissions Requirements

Students applying for a Master of Health Administration at WSU must have and submit:

  • An undergraduate degree in health management, business, clinical profession, or related field.
  • A minimum overall GPA of 2.75.
  • A personal goals essay of 500 words or less which clearly articulates the applicant’s reason for seeking admission to the MHA program
  • A current resume
  • Two professional letters of recommendation that are acquainted with the applicant’s background and potential success in graduate studies
  • 3 years or more of managerial work experience, evaluated by the MHA admission committee; or be a WSU graduate from health management, business, clinical profession or related field, graduate certificate in health administration, with a GPA of 3.5 or higher in the last 60 credit hours
